Are you tired of working long hours and still not reaching your financial goals? Do you want to start your own business but don't have a large budget for marketing and advertising?
Affiliate marketing can be a powerful tool for businesses of all sizes. Not only does it enable you to tap into the audiences of others, but it also allows you to compensate those who help you promote your business. That's a win-win situation.
In our most recent launch, we decided to opt for more organic growth instead of paid advertising such as Facebook ads. We not only utilized our former students to promote us as affiliates, but also those in our network who already knew and trusted us. Our affiliates had the opportunity to not only earn 50% in commission but we also established bonuses and prizes for those who brought in the most leads and sales.
We then equipped our affiliates with training, support, marketing materials, social graphics and email copy to make promoting our event as easy as possible to help them succeed.
The second strategy we implemented was using a third party person in our network who knew a lot of potential affiliates who had large audiences. With these people we setup a per lead agreement and provided them each with their own unique opt in page.
The end result? We paid out around $29,000 to our affiliates and had an extra $26,000 in profits which was super exciting! If you are wanting to grow your audience and expand your reach, I recommend trying affiliate marketing as a strategy.

Here are a few tips to help you harness the power of affiliate marketing:
- Build strong relationships with your current and former clients. They can become some of your best affiliates, as they already know and trust your business.
- Reach out to potential affiliates in your network, even if they haven't used your product or service before. If you can establish trust and rapport with them, they may be willing to promote your business to their audience.
- Partner with a trusted intermediary who has a strong network of connections. This person can help introduce you to potential affiliates that you may not have been able to reach on your own.
Regardless of how you find affiliates, make sure the terms of your affiliate program are clear and fair. Be transparent about how much commission affiliates will earn and what their responsibilities are.
At the end of the day, affiliate marketing can help you reach new audiences, generate more revenue, and build stronger relationships with your clients and partners. So don't be afraid to give it a try!
